Using input from leading cardiologists, they set out to create a bed that provides optimal images of cardiac structures while offering simple, pain-free operations.

Electric Fowler positioning up to 65° increases patient comfort and raises the head of the bed for patients with shortness of breath [*] Rapid release drop section reduces imaging acquisition time while improving axis imaging [*] Sonographer drop section and extension reduces repetitive strain injuries for sonographers* [*] The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) recommends that drop-down sections or cutouts should be incorporated and used whenever appropriate to minimize stressful postures. These provide improved access to the apical (heart) region for cardiac imaging. [/list]
