Blood Pressure Monitor Forums
My girlfriend has had chronic hypotension, and was recently started on Midodrine by her cardio after a completely normal stress test, echo, etc.. She intermittently has hypotensive symptoms (dizziness, light-headedness, chest pain, nausea, etc) and I'd like to be able to check it at home so we can keep track of it. Does anyone have a BP cuff for themselves that they recommend? Honestly, I'd prefer an automatic one but that's not necessary if the benefits of the manual ones are apparent. https://showbox.tools/
Our SOP states that when inflating the b/p cuff for the purpose of palpating the VP site to find the vein, the cuff can be inflated up to donor diastolic but not higher than that. What is the reasoning behind that? Thanks
