Hello all,
Our ligasure is not giving any alarm or error code of any kind, works the same way it usually does, but is less powerful than before.
Any idea what the issue could be?
Thank you!
RE: Valleylab - LigaSureI have this problem and already read the service manual but doesn't have the transformer or inductive resistors. I have the fluke 454A but doesn't have the 30 ohms resistant option, with 100 and 500 would be enough? The error 16 starts when put on the plate on the patient.
Also read in the forum that could be "Scaling relays in the control board", how can I probe them? I doesn't have another Force Fx.
Some days ago I made the REM calibration because the equipment was showing green REM alarm when plug in the plate even without patient. Also the trouble that made the hospital call me was that the equipment wasn't turning on right, it had a problem in the initial test. When the lights were on bipolar it started as usual but were restarting the autotest when passing trough cut.
Should I try to fix It or is better just change the equipment with all that issues?
Appreciate any help
Equipment: Valleylab - Force FX-C
RE: Valleylab - Force FX-CI have been working on a Ellman.
They blew fuse after leaving foot pedal depressed for extended length of time.
Blew a 1 Ohm 5 watt resister, I have replaced along with fuse.
I have no voltage out of transformer after replacing parts.
I will ohm out Transformer tonight, but looking spec's and possible replacement
Thanks.

RE: Ellman International - Surgitron FFPF EMCHello, could you please provide me with a service manual for Olympus ESG-100?
RE: Olympus - ESG-100When stepping on the yellow pedal, no output (sound/heat) is apparent, ruling out the foot pedal as the issue, any ideas, user or Hardware?
RE: Bovie - Specialist ProCovidien has issued a device correction to resolve these errors.
As a part of the investigation into this issue, it was noted that upon insertion of a new (unused) LigaSure TM device, theValleylab TM FT10 Energy Platform running software versions 4.0.1, 4.0.2 and 4.0.3 may erroneously indicate that the LigaSureTM device was used previously. When this occurs, the energy platform will display error "E420 Usage Limit" or error "E416 Unknown Instrument," and the LigaSure TM device would not be allowed to be used.
Upgrading the Valleylab TM FT10 Energy Platform to the newly released software version 4.0.4 will eliminate this issue. Software will be provided by Covidien at no charge.
RE: Valleylab - FT10FT10 IT come with bead power supply . I think it will be easy to do. So I bought used from ebay. But after installing I have E233.
