Per Philips: Proper skin preparation
- Use of quality electrodes
- Change Electrodes Daily
- Proper electrode application
- Good electrode-to-patient contact
- Artifact elimination
If alarming continues despite preparation and/or patient heart status&
- Change arrhythmia analysis mode from multi-lead to single-lead
- Change electrode placement for Electrode LA (black) to V5position on chest
- Change electrode placement for Electrode LL (red) to V6 position on chest
- Change waveform lead to Lead III at Central monitor or Lead that best fits criteria.

8 RepliesHaving an issue here where when SP02 is selected with our telemetry devices and an alarm triggers, when canceling the alarm, it also shuts off SP02 monitoring. This happens with all piics (4) and with all wireless devices (M4841A, and MX40). Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. RE: Philips - IntelliVue MX40

2 RepliesHi
I have a Cardiocap/5 which won't display the N2O and anaesthetic agent on the main screen - I know that the machine is able to measure them as somewhere deep in the service menu there was a whole table of all the parameters it was measuring (including N2O and AA). I've had to replace the SRAM battery - have I forgotten to ask for this parameter somewhere?
Thanks RE: Datex Ohmeda - Cardiocap/5

2 RepliesA hospital in Germany donated an M3150 Rev J PIIC Classic to a hospital in Ethiopia I volunteered at. The Sectors and Pt Window is in German, yet the service area is English. The language box is grayed out (shows German). What is the process to change the info the users see into English? The Ethiopian medical community uses English with all of it's equipment.
