1 ReplySo originally the monitor was called in because the spo2 wasn't working we ordered a new estp board i changed it out and followed the same connections that I took off. Now the infrared light comes on the spo2 finger probe which it didn't before but no measurements are displayed. It has a notification up top saying ESTP measurements have been removed and that the NIBP calibration switch is on. Do you have any advice? RE: Datex Ohmeda - Cardiocap/5

3 RepliesSorry not a biomed person here so pardon the kid speak, but we have a spacelabs 90369 patient monitor that we power up and it runs system diagostics but never completes to get to the main screen. If you shut it down and turn it back on 2-3 times it will finish. We have attempted to leave it on overnight to see if it would ever complete and after 12 hours it hasn't. Has anyone had experience with this happening? and how did you fix it?

2 RepliesI have a Cardiocap/5 MON CONFIGERATION B FBWG02335 SN. The monitor reads 'SENSOR INOP'. The D-Fend and the battery have been changed. No Change.
The Service Manual says "check timeout and bad checksum valves at the service menu" Not sure how to do that. Is this something I can do.
When I call a the GE National Service Centre - they said "gas module needs changing" at a cost of 3500.00.

1 Replyi am trying to figure out why my lcd screen is haveing an issue. the device started as WILL NOT POWER i have replaced 510d or BAEEP 510 amplifiers just off the main power leads and that fixed the no power issue but now my screen is just white almost as if there is no valid video signal. does the small button battery on the back provide or ramp up the video signal so it can come in at a higher resolution? or does it even have a functionality with the 332 coil on the back that has direct effect on the LCD screen RE: Philips - IntelliVue MX40

1 ReplyI recently ran into a situation with these 3 devices. Please beware when integrating these 3 devices. The carescape b850 by default can not slave cvp to the new hemosphere cardiac output monitor. The system will only slave ecg and arterial pressure. The unity network for ge will be able to pull the cco from the edwards monitor. You will need a serial to ethernet adapter made by GE to do so. The problem with this configurantion is that the only port available to send the cco to the unity network is also the only port used by the hemosphere to send the data to capsule. In order to get both the cco info to the b850 and the data to capsule you will need a male to 2 females "y" db9 splitter and the vigilance serial cable along with the db adapter from capsule. You will also need to match the baudrate in the edwards monitor to 19200. After this is configured you will be able to see your cco, cci, svr and svri on your b850. The crna will still have to enter the svr and svri manually unto epic but they will have continuous monitoring. Edwards is working in a solution for this problem. Ge do not have a solution for it. Capsule, maguire enterprises and black box do not have a solution for this problem. RE: GE HealthCare - CARESCAPE B850
