Hi, our Transtar P8000 bed still has the old braking mechanism using the single bended rod to activate/de-activate the brakes, and since the rod brakes I need to replace/upgrade it with a new kit(Hill-Rom Transtar Brake/Steer Upgrade 131554).
I would like to ask if anybody have a copy of the installation instruction for the said kit.

I can't find specifications that show the shipping weight. I had 400 lb. A freight carrier is trying to say it was 1,053 lb. We know that's way off. Thank you.
Does anyone have an electronic copy of the service or ops for the GlobeTrotter? We have one unit, which works well, but it has a problem with regulating temperature, and I'd like to see what the manuals say. The only one we have a hard copy of is the older TI 500 which we no longer have.

So I am new at repairing stretchers. I have a M Series Model SM204 stretcher that brakes are finicky. The stretcher after being locked in brake on one or more sides immediately unlocks. Sometimes it stays locked, sometimes it doesn't. I feel like I have to replace the brake cam but I don't know if that's the case nor do I know how to replace the brake cam.
