I am trying to validate the operation of a pocket dop II unit which uses a 2Mhz and 3 Mhz probe interchangably in terms of normal pregnancy and obese pregnancies. My nurses complain all the time this unit is not sensing beats, but I check with gel and rubbing on it and seems fine to me. I was wondering what everyone else is doing to validate theirs. Do you guys use the US tester to see watts output or something? Phantom or something? Just asking opinions and experiences of other biomeds out there... Stan

I have 2 monitor systems; in past 1 week both tocometers have stopped working-- when plugged in-- 2 blinking red dashes appear instead of contraction monitors. ???? Hopefully an easy fix?
