I am just curious, the obvious difference between the YAG and the Alex is obviously the wave length, but how does this come about is it just a matter of filters in the hand piece (similar to IPL) or are there major differences in the laser head maybe?

I bought this Laser on eBay some days ago and I guess I've been had.
Apart from getting the error 15.1 I have noticed, that the water is really quite warm (almost hot) after the machine has been running for about 15 Minutes (after the warm up has been completed).
During those 15 Minutes of operation I try to complete the calibrating process but as I already mentioned I get the error 15.1, the seller said the 15.1 is due to a dirty lens, so he is sending me a new one. I hope that does it, although I am skeptical. Concerning the water temperature he says that normal, once again, I'm skeptical.
I would be happy about some thoughts or advice, thanks in advance.
