So we have a Hill Rom Advanta P1600 when lowering the Bed the Head End stays up. The Foot End lowers properly. Everything else works on the Bed. The "Bed not Down" LED is lit even when the bed is in the Down Position Foot End is completely down, head end is not.

I know this is an old bed but I'm hoping someone is familiar with it. Everything works concerning the motor. The bed elevates and lowers; the lower section will fold up for knee and leg support and down again; but the head of the bed only goes up about 2 inches then lowers itself again.

Only when we use Trend either way, we get a 2 or 3 second long grinding noise. Everything else works and sounds fine. I called in a Tech ...useless. He said it was cheaper to buy a new Bed. I don't believe him. Has anyone run into this before ? RE: Hillrom - Advanta
