Our Midas 3 stainer is staining our slides very lightly. The white cells look washed out and the platelets are hard to see.We have not changed up the type of stain or buffer we used. This came on suddenly, and I am not sure why? We have tried using tap and DI water both results are the same. Any help to improve how the slides stain would be great.Also we keep seeing bacteria in our slides caused by the stainer,could you also suggest a good way to clean stainer .
Does anyone know of a parts distibutor that would have the wired solenoid and valve on hand. I have been requesting them from the company but the earliest might be 8 weeks until I can get what it..
Our Midas stainer has developed some kind of thick slime along the walls of the water bath and in the tubing that flows into the stainer despite regular bleaching.
Has anyone had this problem? the slime has no colour or odour.
Do you have a protocol for using the Midas III with SP stain? I would need volume of stain and buffer and times for the programs. RE: EMD Chemicals Inc. - Midas III Stainer
