How can the date be changed on the Stat Strip Xpress monitor?  We just realized that the date is a day behind.  Possibly due to leap year?  There are no instructions as to how to change it.  Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

We perform POC glucose testing with your instrument in our office and have been informed that we must report a reference range with each result.  Is there a reportable reference range for this instrument?

We are getting the message E-1 before we even insert the test strip.  We were getting a LO message so we changed the batteries and now are stuck on E-1

To set the time and date on the StatStrip Express:

1.    Push and hold the function button.  The screen will flash between the number 12 and 24.  Toggle either left or right to display 24 (for military time).  Push the function button again.

2.    Now the 24 will disappear and the time will flash.  Toggle to get the correct hour and push the function button to go to the minutes.  Set the minutes the same way then push the function button again.

3.    The date should be flashing now so press function.  This will take you to the year, toggle to set the year and press function.  Now the month is flashing so toggle to set the correct month, push function then toggle to set the day.  One more push of the function button will save the settings.

Is it possible to enter a patient ID in the meter or in the data management software? In other words, is it capable of differentiating data from different patients? Also, can the data be exported to Excel?
