First run on a newly purchased used machine is with a disk date error 4056 which would appear to be due to a needed software upgrade. Is there a new version after 2.1.33?
The machine powers on well, runs qc and loads to its main menu. When you select analyse, it loads opening drawer screen and then fails to complete the task and pops up error code 4220.
"Control Renewal Required" showing on screen, and then it is printed on test results paper - even though the tests were run normally with good results showing. What do I do to fix or bypass this issue - or how do I do "Control Renewal"? Are my test results invalid with this phrase on my test results paper? Thanks! RE: Abaxis - Piccolo xpress
I have a Piccolo Xpress that passes iQC checks but has started showing 4210 Cuvette Sensor Error when I run a test. Tried multiple disks and waiting multiple days. Im led to believe this might be due to a dirty optical sensor but I am not sure how involved the cleaning is. Any tips? RE: Abaxis - Piccolo xpress
I am setting up an POC Urgent Care lab which includes writing policies for their equipment. They have purchased a Piccolo Express but do not have as the clinic will not open for 3.5 weeks. We have just recently been getting a ~~ instead of a result with Sodiums. The manual says this is a chemistry interference. It has happened on the BMP and CMP cartridges and has happened with plasma and whole blood, so there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to these errors. Then today, it did it on a Magnesium. Has anyone else seen this and know what the cause may be? This is at a Cancer Center, so could it be medicine related?
