Hi, Thanks for the information that you provided for the QC tests for Senographe essential, they were very useful for my assignment. I am writing an essay on Senographe essential and i need to write about, physical features, radiation protection, electromechanical safety and clinical utilization of this particular system. I was wondering if i also could get some information in these areas as well. Appreciated if i can get them as soon as possible. Cheers.

Sometimes when an exam is ended, it seems to take forever to close, you get the message "Error Occured During Image Declaration" and not all of your images make it to PACS or the Review Workstation. To actually fix this problem typically requires a software reload. Until you get to the point of doing that, you can alleviate the problem by storing as few images on the system as you need to. With no exams, it usually says something like 6500 Images Remaining. You'd think you could store that many images on the system, but you may have to delete old exams to make sure you keep your number above 2500 or even above 4000 to prevent this error. There is no fixed number to choose. It all depends on your system and how long it has been in use.

Many gantry elevation problems can be taken care of by cleaning and regreasing the lift screw first. The correct grease is GE p/n 5212483. One trick our FSE showed us is to spray TriFlow on top of the grease. Hey, it works. Maybe the TriFlow thins out the grease a bit. The same thing works on the gear for gantry rotational problems.
