How do I preset the machine to generate an Ob report that INCLUDES fetal heart rate? The report that it currently generates only includes measurements of gestational age (BPD, CRL, GS). Thank you so much!

Does anyone have the Service Password for the Viamo SSA-640A?

Toshiba to Showcase Suite of Premium Performance and Ergonomically Friendly Ultrasound Units at SDMS Annual Meeting

ATLANTA, Sept. 22, 2011 – Ultrasound is often used as a first-line exam to quickly and safely diagnose a range of patient conditions. At this year’s Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) annual meeting in Atlanta, Ga., Sept. 22–25, 2011 (Booth #334), Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. will highlight the premium performance and ergonomic design of the AplioTM MX and ViamoTM diagnostic ultrasound systems. The ergonomic design allows sonographers to perform procedures more efficiently and reduce exam time, while the advanced clinical applications improve image quality for more accurate diagnoses.

Aplio MX: The Aplio MX system delivers the ultimate combination of performance and versatility in a smaller, ergonomic system. The system features a full range of technologies to improve image quality and provides clinicians with exceptional resolution and detail on all exams. The Aplio MX has a smaller footprint and is approximately 30 percent lighter when compared to conventional ultrasound systems, making it easier for hospital staff to maneuver the system and access the patient. This combination of performance and portability makes the Aplio MX the ideal system for the busy ultrasound department.

Viamo: The industry’s no-compromise laptop ultrasound system with advanced imaging capabilities previously unavailable on systems of its size. The Viamo, equipped with the performance of Toshiba’s larger, cart-based systems, delivers best-in-class image quality and penetration (up to 40 cm) from the patient’s bedside to an operating room and in any clinical setting. With the flexibility to be used as a laptop or in tablet mode, the Viamo is ready to use in any situation, and its dynamic touch screen allows for a seamless and comfortable operation of the system.

“Enhancing imaging capabilities and improving workflow are paramount in today’s demanding ultrasound environment,” Tomohiro Hasegawa, director, Ultrasound Business Unit, Toshiba. “Our ultrasound systems shown at SDMS illustrate Toshiba’s commitment to developing ultrasound systems with advanced clinical capabilities, combined with an ergonomically friendly design.”
