RE: Fluke Biomedical - ESA620No output at DUT receptacle, any advise of what the problem may be?Thank you.
RE: Fluke Biomedical - ESA620Our client snapped the USB port off the mainboard. I successfully replaced it with a new port (took two hours) and I was very careful to ensure that all the ribbon cable and power connectors were fully seated. There is no evidence of burnt components (we've seen that before) and all the fuses are good. The analyzer runs through it's power-on-self-test correctly, but ends in a double-beep audible and the backlit display is blank. pressing any key repeats the double-beep. The computer recongizes the USB port as COM5 when plugged in, but the Fluke software doesn't recongize the analyzer. Is there a reset sequence I can try? thanks.
RE: Fluke Biomedical - ESA620I turned on the ESA620, and the display is so dark that it can't be read straight on. It can be seen at an angle. I adjusted teh contrast to maximum, and it helps a little, but it is still barely legible. I've pulled the unit apart and found no visible problems (Loose ribbons, connections, wires, etc). The display (LED) appears to be sealed, so i can't tell if it needs to be reseated or if I should just try to order an new display and go from there. Suggestions? Btw, FLUKE does not offer a service manual for this critter.
Thanks for any insite you may have.
