Does anyone have information about the cable connections for the install of a Smart Vent 7900 to the Excel and Modulus machines? I currently have a Modulus ll with a 7810 Vent and an Excel SE ll with a 7810 as well. What do I need to upgrade them to the 7900 vents as I have several and would like to employ them. New oxygen sensors for the SmartVent 7900 on Excel 210SE machines are either not recognized or not able to calibrate (whether 21 or 100%) on three different machines (these were stored unused for several years)and different connection cables, all other functions are unimpaired. The same sensors are working well if connected to a newer but compatible GE anesthesia machine. How can I check where the problem lies? Service manual does not cover this detail.
I have a 7900 Ventilator question on 2 different Modulus units: when checking the volume delivered (with a Wright respirometer) When set for 1000L I am only getting about 850ML. I haven't had this problem before and just wanted to see if there were any solutions which I may have overlooked.
