We're getting the above error on our Force 30. Doesn't matter if there's an accessory plugged in or not. Have stripped the unit down, visually inspected it, blown it out with compressed air and reassembled. No change. Also occasionally get the 110 error too. Anyone have any experience with this? 110 appears to relate to the buttons on the front panel. 116 refers to one of the accessory buttons being stuck on. Context: Lab test machine - not in surgical use. Reasonably old but gets very little sustained use. We use it as an RF source for testing implements.

Force 40 unit. Several of my resistors are incorrect compared to the manual's parts list. R97,98 150 ohm, 50W according to the manual, unit contains 150 ohm and 100 ohm 50w resistors. The manufacture of both resistors is the same suggesting factory OEM. R14,84 100 ohm 1/4 watt according to the manual, when the unit contains a 56 ohm resistor much bigger than 1/4 watt in the r84 slot. R14 is correct according to the manual at 100ohm 1/4 watt. The PCB painted outline for 84 is much larger than a 1/4 watt resistor, suggesting this is the factory OEM resistor. Finally R69,70 are 510 ohm 1/2 watts according to the manual but 69 is a 4.6k ohm possibly 2watt? based on size. 70 was burnt and I cannot confirm size but the outline confirms it should be much bigger in wattage than the manuals stated 1/2 watt. Attempting to replace R70 with a 4.7k ohm 2 watt does nothing advantageous. I am getting codes #3 #86 #100-104 #111-118 #122 #124 Any help on the color code of R70 would be helpful. 4.6k ohm 2 watt resistors look to be unobtainable on the resistor market.

I test activity in the microcontroller, Oscillator, all the power +5,+12,-5, -12 from Microproccesor PCB, PSR PBC, Display PBD, Interface PCB. The Watchdog signal in U21 is "0". Can anyone help me, please?

Hi, My ValleyLab Force 40 doesn't give any output on both Mono and Bipolar. The machine start up well without any error but there is no output power when I press cut or coag on hand switch or ether foot switch. Any idea where should I check or replace? Thanks

Hello,

I am working on a Valley lab ESU force 40, intermittently when activated the unit will display error code 86 and will not function, I tested the outputs and the Cut function output is off by over 30% from the front panel setting, I believe this is causing the error, can anyone please help that has experience with this issue?

Hello, we have a Valley Lab force 40 bovi unit that is giving us an error code 86. We have a service manual for this unit (or at least we believe it is for this unti) but we are not able to match any of the calibration potentiometers with ones that exist on the unit's boards. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
