I have a cardio cap/5 that is saying it is 2015 - it will not allow me to select time and date in order to change the year (skips right over it) could this be caused by the top hat battery?

Having issues with several monitors going into Apnea alarms based on low or non-existent RR numbers when using ECG impedance. The RR number is blank most times with an occasional inaccurately low rate when attached to a patient or a patient simulator. Low enough numbers to trip the alarm.

Monitors ECG is set to monitor type II lead set. When changed to lead set type I, it works better, but still having customer complaints that the Apnea alarm is going off with all of their patients.

I've tried different cables, both 3rd party and OEM. Different same model monitors, but they all act the same way. I've looked in the manual and settings, but cannot find a resolution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Cardiocap/5 that had the gasses calibrated in 8/2015 - now the O2 is steady at 21% (atmosphere). Tried recalibration , would allow me to calibrate all gasses except O2.

Have a planned maintenance kit on the way, just wondering if there was any other possible correction that needs to be done

I have several units, they all power on with no errors and pass a performance check. When doing a further function check, in the service menu, under M-NSAT the counter goes up by the hundreds and the three errors MP-203 Error, QUART Error, and I/O Error say yes. Is this normal?

Good morning,

My name is Alejandro Fernandez Escobar, currently last year medical student doing an anesthesiology clerkship. I have been working with a monitor Datex-omheda Cardiocap/5, the past month or so  the configuration on the monitor has change (units of mesurement) :

-The CO2 in the capnography is reading in % and not in mmHg

-And the MAC window disappeared from the screen, how make it appear again.

Thanks for your help,

Alejandro
