If I buy this model and it needs service. Where do I send it to be repaired and how long does it take?

Hi - I'm getting the lid lock error so I can't get it to start, but the mechanical switch seems to be working. When we push the lid down, it clicks in, and won't open until we unlock it. 

I have tried turning the cytospin on/off in sequence, with the sealed head in/out, and no luck.

Any ideas on how to fix this? We have perishable samples on ice, and need to spin them onto slides asap.

Our Shandon Cytospin 3 is displaying a ! error and beeping about 3 minutes into any program.. We have to turn off the instrument to have it to stop and open the lid.. What could be wrong? I cleaned the gasket and entire instrument inside and it still has this error occurring..

Any advice would be helpful..
