What are the fundamental differences between oncology accelerators and the one's used in the semiconductor industry? I am now working as a biomed, but have 25+ years experience in semiconductor maintenance, mostly on accelerators. I have worked extensively on Varian E220's, E500's, Genus 1500's and NV10-80's, 10-160, NV20, NV20a's, GSD's, etc... How do they compare in complexity and reliability?
