I get a fault code 5 when the unit runs a self test. What does this mean? My unit only runs in CW mode, so I used to be able to switch it to CW after failing the self test. It doesn't work in Ultrapulse mode. I don't recall see the code 5 before, but it has been a while since we have turned on the laser. I don't have the manual for this laser. Thank you for helping. I need to replace the CPG communication cable for a Coherent Ultrapulse 5000c. The hand piece was manufactured in 2001. The existing cable is Mini DIN 8 male on each end. Do you know of replacement sources or the point to point wiring of the cable so that I can have one made?
