I have a 10LPM Invacare platinum (homefill II compatible) with Sense O2. I have access to the service manual for this unit.
This concentrator ran with an obstructed outlet until it shut down. Now I have a constant red light beside the "bell" indicator and a constant audible alarm. The compressor does not attempt to turn on, and no voltage is produced at the compressor connector. The manual leads me to believe it has engaged the "Sieve-GARD Compressor Shutdown" feature.
I have attempted to clear the alarm by turning the power on and off 5 times (as dictated by Section 4 of the service manual) but this does not seem to reset anything.
Removing the cover and looking at the PC board, I can see a green and a red LED. Each light blinks 4 times and then alternates to the other light. This pattern of 4 blinks each does not seem to be described anywhere in the manual.
I am eager to get this unit up and running, but have hit a wall diagnostically. What should my next steps be? Any and all help is greatly appreciated, thank you!
I have a Platinum XL set up to work with the Homefill II compressor. I set the oxygen concentrator at 2.5-3LPM and verfied that the Oxygen output from the main port is >93%.
I connected the compressor through the rear output port and it has been unable to fill the bottle due to low oxygen input from the concentrator. I tested the output from the rear output port from the concentrator and it is indeed greater than 90%, however the flow output is less than 1LPM.
Should the output port flow be so low? I cheated the set-up to make sure that the compressor worked by connecting it to the front port of the concentrator instead of the correct port, and it did manage to get high O2 and fill the bottle intermittently. However, this is explicitly contraindicated by the manufacturer.
i get one oxigen concentrator in my hospital it model and serial no. is not listed there and also i cant get the service and user manuale becouse of same management of the documents in the hospital staff so i need sambody to help me to get the manuel...
