Equipment: Stryker - CHG Spirit Select

Head won't go down. all other functions work fine. Is there any tricks or some type of reset?

We purchased a fleet of Spirit series CHG hospital beds recently. A common problem we find with these news beds, The bed will no longer lower when it should. The problem seems to be a false posiive for the Obstruction sensors.  Disconnect the safety obstruction sensors and the bed will lower. 

The Stryker company seems baffled by this condition.
