For more than 30 years, Haemonetics has been a global leader in blood processing technology. The Company has two families of products: Donor Products - These products are marketed to the blood donation industry and include products that automate the blood donation process and the processing of blood. Patient Products - These products are marketed to the surgical suite for blood loss management for patients. The products include surgical blood salvage (or "autotransfusion") devices, surgical field blood suction systems, and blood and patient warming systems. Through its history, Haemonetics has earned a solid reputation for product innovation, technical expertise, and operational excellence. Today, Haemonetics' products, internal R&D, marketing partnerships, and product acquisitions reflect the Company's unwavering commitment to provide safe and available blood for patient transfusions and for use in pharmaceuticals. Haemonetics is publicly traded as HAE on the New York Stock Exchange. We employ more than 1,800 people in 16 countries and market in over 50 countries. About 85% of revenues come from single-use consumables exclusively used with our devices. Almost half our revenues are derived from the Americas. The balance is derived nearly equally from Europe and Asia.
