After doing the 3-year PM and replacing the fan motor, the fan makes an awful sound when starting and stopping. It appears like the fan hub's change of speed is causing it to rub the fan when there is a change of speed. This is the third omnibed in a row that has had this issue after fan replacement. Does anyone know if this is just from wear and tear or something that could have happened during the service? Any way to prevent it in the future? TIA.
RE: GE HealthCare - Giraffe OmniBedHi all,
I have the panda resus hooked up to a liner and canister. When I turn the suction on, I'm expecting a vacuum of 50 mmHg but only measure ~20 mmHg. I also try increasing the expected vacuum but it still only measures ~20 mmHg. The vacuum does increase when the liner is manually pushed down when the suction is on, but manual intervention shouldn't be necessary.
The resus passed all checkout tests, I tried calibrating it anyways, and it passed all checkout tests again.
I checked for cracks or leaks in the liner and canister and didn’t notice any. Tried replacing the liner and canister with another set and that didn't resolve my problem. I also tried both the original set and the replacement set on another vacuum and they both worked as expected without manual intervention.
Any recommendations for what to try next? Tests, replacement parts, or something else?
RE: GE HealthCare - Panda iRESHello all,
The screen on my Panda will not light up.
I can see the screen when I shine a flashlight on it.
Is it just the backlight or is there something else involved?
