Unit sat 3 years. Turns on , microprocessor seems ok. Unit sometimes cools , but not to set -25C . Other times starts and does not cool at all. Is this a condenser problem or a possible sensor/main board issue ?

UPDATE 5 NOV 2019:

Does anyone out here know of a US distributor for an Elco model NU 9-20-2/094, P # NET3T09PUN302, condensor fan.  Or does anyone have information regarding a compatible substitute for this condensor fan?

Please reply eMail to fredrick.tobisch@med.ge.com. Thanks.

This fan is in a Leica CM 1800 cryostat.  Leica no longer supports this model, no parts, no service, no tech support.  The condensor fan, installed in a Danfoss refrigeration system, is made by Elco ( Regal Benoit company ), is model # NU 9-20-2/094, P # NET3T09PUN302.

I'm pretty sure it's age is why I'm having difficulty locationg a supplier for this fan.  I've checked Grainger, McMaster, Electric Motor Warehouse, PartsSource.  No one seems to supply motors from this manufacturer.

ORIGINAL POST:

Does someone here have the part number for the condensor fan in the bottom of the CM 1800 cryostat?

The above Model is old but is a necessity. At present we have a problem with the refrigeration side of it. It being old and still R12 Freon doesn't gets to its required -20 psi. What would be the best thing to do. Open for any suggestion please.

Since there is not currently a forum for the CM1800, I'll ask this question here.

Does anyone know if there is a way to add hysteresis to the temperature control of the CM1800? It turns the compressor off or on with only a one degree change, which may result in insufficient pressure equalization before the compressor restarts. Does anyone know if there is a way to add hysteresis - set it so that it takes a two-degree drop before the compressor will turn back on?  I was going to install a "delay after break" time delay in the SSR control, but I've had difficulty finding an appropriate device that works in the DC control circuit. Does anyone have other suggestions?
