Dry temp

Does anyone have experience with a Steris/Amsco 444 not getting to temp during dry cycle? I think set point is around 240F but I'm only getting ~180F.

Thanks...

Try checking the dryer temp RTD that's in the ductwork just below the blower motor. you can insert a calibrated bead probe in through the screw hole that's just above it, remove the screw and place the probe in through the hole. DO NOT let the disc/shaft that the screw is holding rotate! This is easily accessible from the clean side of a double-door unit once you remove the upper panel above the door. Check the temp you get during a dry cycle on your calibrated probe against what the RTD is reading. It could be a simple matter of calibration or a bad RTD.

Thanks for the response. I will try that but the reason I ask is that the instruments are coming out wet and not very hot. I increased the dry time by 6 minutes and that helped a "little" but it's not optimal....
