How to silence alarms under specific circumstances.

I am in a pain clinic where all cases are MAC.  We use the Narkomed 2b as a back-up in case of emergency, but 99% of the time only utilize the aux. O2.  However the machine is turned on and checked daily.  How do you silence the alarm that goes constanly saying %02Low, etc.  You can silence for 120 seconds, but it is annoying to have to press the silence alarm button every 2 min during a 10 hr day!!  What is the trick to silencing that alarm for the duration, yet keeping the machine ready to go as needed?

Nominal O2 concentration in room air is 21%. When you turn on the 2B, the default low O2 alarm setting is 30%. Select the low O2 alarm setting and lower it with the down arrow as far as you can (usually 18%). That should eliminate your alarms until the unit is switched on again , where this process will need to be repeated.

The Narkomed family resets the low O2 limit alarm level everytime you turn the machine on to 30%. You will have to manually change it each time you turn on the machine.

Turn down the Oxygen low alarm level to either 18 or 21%
