Radiologic Technologist

I was just recently at a bone density seminar and the instructor felt that we should be doing the aluminum spine phantom weekly.  I was not performing bone denisties when this unit was put in so I have now history knowledge and we currently only do the daily QC test with the black box.  My question is should we really be doing this QC test weekly in the future?

The black box is good enough. Most people loose that phantom or never have it. Just have a good pm done on the unit by a service tech. It may be good idea in theory but I'm going toassume you have better things to do. Hope this help.
