I am having an issue with my maintainence software timing out on windows 7. The laptop I have running XP doesn't have any issues with the serial port timing out. Is anyone else having simuliar issues? I'm thinking its the way windows 7 handles the serial port but can't find a solution.

my understanding is the PCU needs an upgrade to the latest version of software from CareFusion. There is a "glitch" with the previous versions of SW but 9.12 does NOT have that issue

I think mine is 10.33 which was required to handle the updated server software. Not seeing any issues.
Some of my co-workers unpug the serial USB adaptor sometimes and it gets lost and then they do not know how to get the serial port back.. (nubee issue wiht windows and not the software though).
