Blowing Gfic Rec

I have a 2540M That when turned on blows GFCIs. I checked for shorted wires and found none. Any idea as to what may cause this?

You most likely have a faulty heater. There are four of the wired in circuit which means they each have to be removed and check indvidually. If you would like further help feel free to contact our service department at 877-561-0500 or service@duralinesystems.net

Check the three switches under the multivalve.

They have three positions comm, no and NC.

Press down on the levers with the power off and unplugged.

Each should make a clicking noise. No click equals a bad switch. The middle one is the most problematic.

Be careful with the heaters. It's easy to screw them up when testing as advised by another company.

I have had this problem before and it was the heaters. Be sure to check the heater individually and from each of the terminals to ground. The terminal to ground test is what was causing my problem.

Yes on the heaters! I have even seen them short ONLY when heated OR bent around the chamber!

GFCI normally don't  trip due to a short. GFCI’s look at leakage between the neutral & ground wires.
