Looking for thoughts on the Shutdown procedures. The Shutdown procedures call to use a bleach solution to prepare the unit for shutdown. My experience is that the bleach will crystalize after prolong storage of the units. This will cause bad readings upon startup when the unit is put back in use.
Ac-T Diff Shutdown Procedures

I uploaded the user manual for the AcT 5diff

Maybe the Shutdown - Extended cleaning procedures for this one will help?

Appreciate the insight Gary. The Diff 5 and the Diff are not even close to comparison. I did find that the Bleach solution mixtures will be useful. I think my final solution is to use the Manufacturer's shutdown procedure (to rid of bio waste) and then fire it back up and run the shutdown with only Distilled water.I found that this 1. rids the unit of bio waste and 2. cleans out the bleach that likes to crystalize in the tubes and filters. These particular units that I am speaking of are stored for 1 year and sit on a shelf ready for deployment. They get fired up once a year to PM and Cal. Again, thanks for the PDF.

You are right.
Recoment from Becman Coulter, that not shutdown instrument longer than 3day.
If shutdown in more than 3 day, perform Pack instrument (with ACT Diff) and Extend Shutdown (with LH Series).
Best regards.
