At what point does it give you the error? (Start of run - Middle - End) With a little more information, we can narrow it down to what is causing the error code.

This error code (E21) refers to a missing, non-standard or incorrectly installed rotor.  Are you using a compatible rotor?  Is it correctly installed?  Was there a power failure during a run (power switch moved to OFF, power cord disconnect or, intermitten power at the outlet?)

If, after checking all of the above, you still have this error code, let me know.  There is one more check you can perform to help isolate the problem.

Ed,

Thanks for sharing a link to the user manual. I have also uploaded it to the product page, under the resources tab, here.

Thanks!

Hi adavila,

I recommend you contact our Technical Support team at 800-438-4851. Make sure you have the unit's serial number of the unit prior to contact so the team can verify the exact model and age.

Kind regards,
Emma

The E-21 states it is a rotor recognition disturbance. The service manual points to the sensor wiring, we have noticed the error usually occurs from a lack of grounding. Double check all the ground connections including the one on the main pcb next to the fuses, remove it and reattach. I hope this helps and as always, thanks for using MedWrench.
