Upper cavity doesn't work

Both (Upper and Lower controlers have 12Vdc coming in through the common supply.

The upper controler won't power on (no display).

Since the lower cabinet works fine, To test the two controlers, I swapped them over.

With the two controlers swapped, the result was the same (the lower cabinet still works and the upper controller still won't power up).

It makes me conclude that both controlers were working fine.

I found that the solid state relay (L1-T1) doesn't close. ( I bench tested it, applying control voltage accross (+) and (-) terminals.

Is there an external device (either input or output) that would make the controler not power on? When I depress the power button I hear a beep but no display coming on.

Please advise.

Thank you,

Frederick

You may want to call the Enthermics service department. 800-862-9276 extension 8689. They will need the serial number of the warmer when you call.

Fredick,

The 12VDC voltage from the power supply goes to the lower control and then is jumpered to the upper control. You may have a loose wire connection between the two. Please feel free to call the factory Technical Service at 800-862-9276 x 3. I will be glad to go through every possible solution with you.
