Tele-medicine

Hi,

I have use of an OEC Fluorostar 7900 and I want to integrate this into a tele-medicine event in a couple of weeks time. I notice, hidden underneath to one side, that there is a BNC video connector. Can someone confirm that this is indeed a Video Output and what format it is please? Is it standard composite video or HD-SDI?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thank you in advance.

They don’t sell the 7900 in the US

You probably need to contact OEC tech support

1-800-874-7378

Usually if it’s HD-SDI it's marked on the port.

Thanks Gary.

There was no indication of it being HD-SDI. In fact, none of the connections were labelled. There was an RS232 port but no sign of it being a control or diagnostic port.

That nice of them to label everything for you....

maybe you can split the monitor input and use that video?

we have a 9800 in endo that we use S-video output.

Lol.

Hmmm....I couldn't see anything at the monitor end as it was like a sealed unit. There were no visible cables or inputs.

Unless there's a panel I can take off...........
