When pumping the pump makes contact with the floor which seems to be blocking the stretcher from elevating. Checked to see if there was any fluid leakage but couldn't find any. Once bed gets passed initial few pumps it will elevate just having trouble starting. Would like to know where I could get the service manual.

The link to the manual is on this same page !! Look up to where you see "View Hill-Rom P8000 Transtar ... PRODUCT DETAILS". Click on it. The click on the tab that says DOCUMENTS. Then click on the SERVICE MANUAL.
Granted, now that you have the manual in your hand, it's not a lot of help, but read pages 2-40 and 2-41.
