Faded "R" wave while printing

I have replaced the print-head assembly and during self test the "R" wave prints with a continuous fade. Has anyone come across the same issue?

Change the battery!  I know this sounds weird for a print issue, but according to GE the battery effects the print.  We have had this issue a few times in the last year and changing thbattery cleared it up each time.  Good luck!
