Progressa Pendant/UCB Failure

We are seeing common pendant failures with the Progressa beds. Often times the pendant will fail and take out the UCB with it. The bed becomes locked with a 10C1 Pendant failed error. The manual states to simply replace the pendant. After this the beds are still locked. Only fix I have found is to replace the UCB which requires recalibration of the entire bed. Our field tech says he deals with a fair number of these, yet tech support is insistent that they have never heard of this and that we are the only facility seeing this failure (much like the siderail lockup issues with the Versacare). Anyone else having this problem? Have you found a way to clear the pendant fail error without replacing the UCB?

Our FSR recommended removing the pendant to avoid issue.
