take a stand alone switch and plug reader and workstation into switch making sure IP are on the same subnet and the install PCR Software, thus taking it off or the Whole network or making it stand alone while loading software

OK. we have Philips PCR-Eleva s hi-res, model - CR-IR 368

The issue is when we instell PCR softwear,there is network commnication problem and the CR is displays OFFLINE.

shear your solution with me pls

This is actually a FUJI Reader  but if you et a network communication error the Reader can not talk to the Workstation Console. Check switches and network cables
