leaking

not sure as water tends to travel within the case and on the counter - I do need to point out that the safety valve is mounted on the left side of the chamber - did you find the troubleshooting guide I mentioned in my previous message?

I did. the previous problem was a short, the thermostat I replaced was bad so after finding the short things still werent working. I put the old thermostat back in and all is good. But I realized that the short showed up because there is a leak. So just trying to chase down the leak issue now. The lopcation of the puddle may be gravity related, meaning we are in an old building remodeled so the floor in places is not totally level.
