When I turn it on the screen says check system then the screen goes black and stays that way

I’ve had this problem a few times with different machines. What I’ve done is this. When you power it on and the screen displays “ Check system” immediately power it of and then on again. Usually it takes a few tries. Just look for the “ System Booting...” display then let it complete the boot process. Niece you run a cycle or two you should not have this problem anymore. Hope this helps.
