Got an Omni Bed with error 'motor Drive failure' - manual says to replace the whole relay board! Don't want to do that just now. Anybody got any idea where to start looking? The bed does not move AT ALL in the normal mode, however, its intermittent in service mode. Makes a bit of movement and stops even when the pedal is pressed.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Adil

Becareful with this one! This can also be caused by the power harness 6600-0701-700. In some cases, when it fails, it will cause the elevating column to lower without any user imput! It has a weird electrical setup that when it loose continuity in the power harness, it causes movement. It's a fairly inexpensive part compared with the relay board. Best advice I can give is to swap the 6600-0701-700 and relay board with another unit and see if the problem follows the parts. The 6600-0701-700 has guilotine style connectors that aren't the best. If the problem is intermitant, try jiggling the 6600-0701-700.
