I have a ForceFX-C that sometimes won't finish the self-test or shuts down soon after. I checked the memory it shows
errors 19 and 318. The 318 is not in the service manual. Anyone with hints?

Valleylab shuts off soon after its turned on.

Hi , the power switch is a common problem when the device is resetting alon.
You can check this, pushing slowly the botton,and you'd hear a false contact
Sometimes this issues could cause fall in CPU board.
In fxs made after 2013 you should change the switch every year

As the instructor for all Valleylab generators, I must say I've never seen either of those error codes in the 8+ years I taught the Force FX-C. I would first try to swap out the low voltage power supply to see if that makes a difference (it's only three connectors and four screws). After that, I would swap the controller board to see if that makes a difference.
