Does anyone know which component on the main board causes the unit not to pass the post test? Ive changed the main board and it passes so that cancels out anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At what point is it failing the POST ? Are you getting the LEDs all flashing? Usually 2 beeps means that it's out of range of the system.
Otherwise, you need the service and installation manual, which goes fairly deep into the microprocessor system of the transmitter..
