won't print

hello, My device started saying out of paper. But it wasn't. It stopped printing in the middle of an EKG, dragging on the roller. I changed the paper, But it still says out of paper and won't print the EKG. It will print a report, though. So, I know the paper is right, and it has ink. I have called the company and they said it was out dated and they do not service or even have customer support. I just need to know, can it be fixed, and can you tell me who I can contact about getting it fixed?
