If this is a DMR or 2000D this should help
Error 071/081 Troubleshooting outlined in resolution.
GENERATOR CPU/: This error has at least three causes:
1 a) After a calibration in the install menu a checksum has not been performed to validate the new data.
1 b) One parameter (or more) has been changed manually by mistake by the FE. Do not perform the checksum, and try to find what parameter has been changed.
2) The lithium battery is dead, or the jumper X2 on the CPU generator is not at the correct location. This can happen at the time of the replacement of the CPU board. The reason for that is that when the DMR is powered, the lithium battery is not needed. see SCH. 800PL3 400PL3 page 9/10.
3) When performing a reload the CPU with save parameters (DR19 in ASM direction 45560244) in the case of corrective maintenance or FMI implementation 11348, 11349, etc.
