Elevation control
When plugging in the elevation system, the table automatically elevates all the way to the top. The elevation mechanism will not allow me to control the elevation.

Old high low tables used a non-electric air operated remote control. When the pedal was depressed for up or down, either negative or positive pressure would travel up the connected tubing to the actuator motor control. The tubing pressure would deflect a small bladder and activate a microswitch to control the elevation motor. If this is the type of remote you have, try depressing the pedal or hand remote down before plugging it into the table. Then release and see if motor direction control resumes.
On a separate note: I had bad luck with a parts and repair depot recommended by Chattanooga. I would be glad to give anyone details if you email me.
