Hello Frandy,
I have had a very similar experience with a MAC 1200 repair in the past. If I recall correctly, the issue was the keyboard membrane, causing the unit to shut down. If you have another unit available, maybe switching the tops will help troubleshoot the problem.
I may also suggest to first, to leave the main battery disconnected and restart the unit using A/C power. Will it then pass testing and proceed to the ECG home screen? Sometimes units respond poorly to a faulty or dead battery.
We are happy to work with you on troubleshooting the issue, please feel free to call Southeastern Biomedical at 828-396-6010 for free technical support.

Hello Greg,
It was actually a dead battery that was causing the problem. All seemed to work fine after I had replaced the battery.
Thank you for your input. I greatly appreciate it.

Frandy
