check to see if the motor is getting power if you have not done so already.
If no power then its probably the board.

Motor is getting power, but still not working.
Does anyone have a circuit diagram of Centra CL3 Centrifuge.

I'm having the same problem. Turns on, but the STOP light is always lit, and the tach displays numbers when turned by hand, but it still gives us Err-1 message when we try to start it. We just replaced the board after a capacitor ruptured, and it is unclear if this problem was created during the death of the capacitor, or if it was created by incorrect replacement of the board. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Any idea where the tach sensor is?

The error 1 does point to loss of tachometer feedback, but could also be the hall sensor for the lid assembly. The manual doesn't cover it, but can be checked by using an ohm meter. I look forward to assisting you trouble shoot your Centra CL3. Please dial 800-457-7576, press option 1 for customer service and ask for Chris.
Thanks again for using MedWrench.
