Removing the Perform Routine Maintenance Alert

Every time we send in our pumps to Moog, they tell us the burn in test fails and requires us to spend almost $1000 to fix the unit. There is nothing wrong with the unit. They claim the burn in test runs the system for 24 hours on battery and if the batteries die in that 24 hours, the PCB is pulling too much juice from the batteries and therefore the PCB is faulty. We have tested these units and they run for 20+ hours on battery. We would like to know the code to remove the **Perform Routine Maintenance** alert and not have to pay these crooks 1000's for a PM.

The problem is not always the board. It could be the motor or the motor just needs aligned a little as how it meshes with the gear that drives the pump fingers.

That may be, but the problem still remains that they will not clear the message without being able to, in their words "fully PM" the system.  The only way they will reset the message is if we pay the $1000 to complete the repairs.  We have a test setup we use with other similar pumps that tests output and occlusion pressures and everything is in spec.  We just can't clear the message.

Hello,

We can PM & Calibrate the pump for you and remove the "Perform Routine Maintenance" message for a year. We charge $175 for PM & Calibration. If there is anything else wrong with the pump or if it needs parts, we will let you know and send you a service report for your approval.

Please let me know if we can help you further.

Thank you

We charge $50 for the pm of the pump. If the pump needs any repairs it is $100.00/hr plus parts. Have you ever been trained by Moog to recertify their pumps/

To Stettler,

You need to be trained and certified by Moog in order to perform the routine maintenance. You also need the software.

Hope this answers your question

Thank you
